Once you have received your order, it is very important that you look over every single item and compare with what is on the delivery note. If there are any discrepancies, contact us immediately as below.

Returns

Returns must be made within 14 days after you have picked up or received the item(s). The same conditions apply as for the right of withdrawal. The product should not be damaged and must be clean, including its packaging. You may not have used the product, but can of course carefully examine it, but without breaking the packaging. Return shipping cost must be paid by you.

You are responsible for return shipping. A restocking fee of SEK 85 is charged when goods are returned, to cover costs for unpacking, re-delivery to the warehouse in Nyköping, credit and refund. We reserve the right to approve a returned item. If the product cannot be offered in new condition to a new customer, it will not be approved.

When returning a product or products from a country outside the European Union (EU) it is imperative that you write on the outside of the box – clear for everyone to read – that “the product(s) is/are defective and returned under warranty: there is no commercial value for Customs purposes”. Any import duty and VAT that may be charged to CVI will not be paid and the package will not be accepted for return. If asked to stat the value of the goods being returned, write a value of USD 5, no more.

In case the reason for the return is down to us - i.e. delivery of an incorrect or faulty item - we are of course responsible for the return cost.

Companies do not have the right to make returns/exchanges. Please contact us.

 

Generally

When ordering via our online shop, an agreement is only reached when CVI Automotive AB (continuously "we", "us") has confirmed the order through an order confirmation via e-mail. The customer (continuously "you") must be of legal age and place the order in their own name. All goods remain our property until full payment is received.

 

Buy

Purchasing products from us also means approving our terms of purchase. When ordering via our online shop, there is a binding purchase agreement.

 

Prices and order value

All prices for Swedish, Danish and South African customers in our web shop are stated in Swedish kronor excluding shipping. Prices can be shown both excl. and incl. VAT if you have Sweden or Denmark set as the country of delivery.

If you have Norway as the country of delivery, the prices are shown excluding VAT and in Norwegian kroner (NOK). Remember that VAT and customs duty are always added to the actual import to Norway, and are paid separately in Norway. If you have Finland as your country of delivery, the prices are shown in Euro incl. VAT.

 

Freight charges

Freight is charged at cost.

 

Deliveries

Delivery time is about 2-4 working days within Sweden. If everything is in stock, your order will be sent within 2-3 working days, depending on how large the order intake is.

IF the delivery is delayed and you want to cancel the purchase, you must contact us as soon as possible.

Orders that have left our warehouse cannot be canceled. We always do our best to fulfill your order. However, there are times when it is impossible to fulfill the order, for example when our suppliers are unable to fulfill their commitment to us.

Partial delivery

Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to send partial deliveries. In cases where we have not been able to deliver the entire order, you must place a new order later when the specific item is back in stock. Of course, we refund the difference. Refunds are made in the same way as we have been paid.

If an item is displayed as not in stock, you can choose to press the "monitor product" button and enter one e-mail address to which we can send a message automatically as soon as the item can be ordered.

 

Right of withdrawal

According to the Distance Act, you as a customer have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days after you have received the product. This provided that the product and packaging are in unchanged condition, ie. unused and not destroyed or damaged. You may not use/try the product but of course carefully examine it.

However, you must not break any part of the packaging. For private individuals, we apply the Consumer Purchase Act.

For customers in Norway, please contact us!

Right of withdrawal does not apply to companies. For purchases in the capacity of a company, conditions apply in accordance with the Purchase Act.

In order to be able to exercise the right of withdrawal, the following applies:

Notify CVI Automotive AB within 14 days by creating a case here and following the instructions.

Upon return, the product must be completely unused and faultless and in original packaging. 
Invoice must be attached to the shipment.

Pack the product well and feel free to use the packaging material in which we sent the goods to you.

You are responsible for return shipping. A return handling fee of SEK 85 is charged when restocking goods to cover our costs for unpacking, delivery to a warehouse in Nyköping, crediting and repayment. Refunds will be made after receipt and approved return in the same way as we received payment from you.

We do not accept returns that do not have a return ticket.

CVI Automotive AB does not accept COD deliveries.

 

Complaints & wrong deliveries

If the product is damaged or if you have received the wrong item, we ask you to create a case ticket here. Then we can arrange a return slip so that you do not have to pay for the return shipping.

NOTE! If a shipment has been damaged in transit, regardless of whether the damage is clearly visible or hidden, this must be reported immediately both to the to the forwarder and to us. Immediately visible defect on the package is reported directly to the forwarder.

Take a photo of the damaged package and product for future needs. Save all packaging for any complaint to the freight forwarder for transport damage. Please ensure that the returned item is packed well in accordance with our recommendations so that it is not damaged during return.

CVI Automotive AB does not accept COD deliveries.

 

Return of cores

Print the return form found further down this page.

Fill in the return form.

Send the core back together with the return form and the order confirmation. You will find the address on the return form. You pay the return shipping.

Once we have received the item and approved the frame, we will refund the money to your account, which you specified on the enclosed return form. At the time of writing, we do not have any goods where we charge for core. However, we ask you to return the core for replacement parts because otherwise there will be no goods of this type to offer other customers in the future. Simply a matter of conscience!

Remember that the core must be in a reconditionable condition. If it is split or drilled in, it will not be approved. In case of uncertainty, contact us for more information and send photographs. Some brake calipers are now available for purchase as brand new, without core charge. These article numbers end in N.

 

VAT & Customs

CVI Automotive AB is not responsible for extra fees that are added afterwards, such as VAT or customs. This mainly applies to shipments outside the EU, or to destinations that have specific agreements with the EU in terms of taxes and duties.

For questions about this, you must contact the authorities responsible in the country to which the shipment is to be sent.

If you choose the country of delivery Åland or Norway, for example, you may therefore have to pay VAT and customs duty afterwards.

 

Payment options

Card payment - You pay directly in the online store with your bank card. This is done through a secure payment module where all information is completely protected. Neither we nor anyone else will have access to your card details. The purchase price is reserved in your account and is only deducted when your order is ready for delivery. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD only.

 

Shipping & delivery

Within Sweden we usually send our goods with Schenker. They guarantee fast and secure deliveries to the whole country. We ship to other countries with UPS. Please note that we can not ship with an alternative carrier as we do not have an agreement with them.

 

Delivery times

We always deliver your order as quickly as possible as long as the goods are in stock. There may be times that make it impossible to complete the order, for example when our supplier is unable to fulfill its commitment to us. We reserve the right to disclaim all compensation to the customer regarding delivery delays.

 

Back order

We do not hold back orders. If any item is missing, we will send what is available and you may return for new order when the item is back in stock.

 

Wrong delivery

If you have received the wrong item delivered, create a support ticket here.

 

Failure to deliver

If you do not get your goods delivered within a reasonable time, create a support ticket here.

 

Shipping damage

Examine your item immediately when you pick up or receive the item. If you discover damage to the packaging or product, you can ask PostNord to take the product back immediately. Freight damaged goods must be reported to us no later than 2 days after you received the goods. It is important that you keep all of the packaging. Without original packaging material, you lose the opportunity to receive compensation for shipping damage.

 

Personal data policy

When you place your order with us, you provide your personal information such as name, address and telephone number. In connection with your registration and order, you agree that we store and use your information in our business to fulfill the commitment towards you.

We do not use the information you provide us in any other way than to execute your order, or where it is directly relevant to the goods you purchased. This means that we do not sell, rent, or otherwise use the information for anything other than the purpose for which it was originally provided. According to the Data Protection Regulation GDPR, you have the right to receive the information we have registered about you. If it is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that the information be corrected or deleted. In that case, contact us by phone or e-mail.

 

Other

Reservations

We reserve the right to make errors in information, as well as errors in specification, on all products in our range. We reserve the right to make typographical errors, price changes and final sales that may occur despite continuous updating. All image information on our pages should be seen as illustrations and CVI Automotive AB can not guarantee that the image reflects the product's exact appearance and condition.

 

Force Majure

In the event of war, natural disaster, industrial action, government decisions, non-delivery of subcontractors, costly circumstances, and other comparable events beyond our control, which could not be reasonably foreseen, which affect agreements entered into and commitments from CVI Automotive AB and cause CVI Automotive AB not able to keep the said agreement / commitment, shall form the basis for CVI Automotive AB to be released from its obligations to fulfill the said agreement.

 

Generally

All goods remain the property of CVI Automotive AB until full payment has been received by us. You who have not reached the age of 18 must have a parent's permission to shop from CVI Automotive's web shop. We will track down any false orders sent to us. CVI Automotive AB reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected. All attempted fraud will be reported to the relevant authorities.
